Mountain Safaris
The most cost-effective and easiest way to explore the peninsula is to take a tour on what
is locally called a 'mountain safari'. About 10 different operators offer similar trips that
include a half-day 4WD to Khor an-Najd and Jebel Harim (from OR30 per person) and a
full-day drive to Rowdah Bowl (OR60). All companies offer dhow trips if you're looking
for a 'one-stop' service. Book online, through your hotel or at the offices in Khasab.
