The most convenient money changers are in Qurm, along Souq Ruwi St in Ruwi and on
the Mutrah Corniche at the entrance to Mutrah Souq. Most of these places are open from
8am to 1pm, and some from 5pm to 7pm; all are open Sunday to Thursday. Some open on
Saturdays too.

There are numerous cardphones around the city for making local and international calls.
Hayyak cards (OR3 with OR1 of credit), for making international and local calls from a
mobile phone, can be bought at the airport or at Omantel counters in malls and at most su-
permarkets and corner shops.
