City Bus offers 15- or 30-day passes for KD7.500 and KD13.500 respectively. Route
maps for both companies are available online, from the bus station and on the buses.
Hilali and Abdullah al-Mubarak Sts in the Safat district. On printed timetables the station
is referred to as 'Mirqab' or 'Mirgab' bus station'.
TAXI
There are several types of taxis operating in Kuwait City, including call taxis (which are
24hr radio-controlled with the fare agreed in advance), orange cabs (which can be shared
from 250 fils plus 50 fils per kilometre, or privately engaged from KD1.500) and white
cabs (which have negotiable fares). It's easy to hail a taxi from the road or from taxi ranks
near malls and hotels.
