Lots of small travel agencies, including Al-Ghanim Travel, are to be found on Fahad al-
Salem and Al-Soor Sts, between Al-Jahra Gate and the Radio and TV building.

Getting There & Away
Kuwait is more or less a city-state so the information for getting to and from Kuwait City

Getting Around
TO/FROM THE AIRPORT
Orange taxis charge a flat KD7 between the airport (16km south of the city) and the city
centre. It's a 20- to 30-minute journey. Buses 13 and 501 run between the main bus station
and the airport every half-hour from 5.30am to 9pm daily (250 fils). Car-rental agencies
have booths on the ground floor of the airport.
BUS
Two main public bus services operate in Kuwait City:
Kuwait Public Transport Company

between the hours of 5am to 10pm.
Note that the front seats of these buses are reserved for women.
