part of the National Museum complex, Sadu House is a cultural foundation dedicated to
preserving Bedouin arts and crafts. It is the best place in Kuwait to buy Bedouin goods,
such as cushion covers and bags. The house is built of gypsum and coral, with fine decor-

study a course in weaving. The Bedouin craftswomen teach sadu (Bedouin-style) and oth-
er weaving techniques. Check with the Kuwait Textile Arts Association (ktaaworkshop@yahoo.com) for
details.
