Quick eats are widespread with shwarma stands along Bani Otbah Ave in Adliya and in
the centre of Manama (around the back of Bab al-Bahrain and in the souq). The large
turnover of customers ensures the freshness of the snack.
There's a vibrant cafe culture in Manama, centred particularly on the Adliya district in
the southeastern part of the city near the Convention Centre. The diverse venues offer a
range of cuisines from breakfast to dinner and serve all day as popular meeting places. A
stroll round this small and partly pedestrian district is a sure way to find your favourite
flavours.
