5 EXPLORE THE AREA'S LIVING HISTORY
Archaeological sites such as Sacsaywamán are impressive, but we also recommend
getting to know the city's living culture. Visit the markets, interact with the locals -
and if you're in town during a religious holiday, join a procession. One of the most re-
markable is held every June, for Corpus Christi.
