was being recorded, and anything audio in the room was recorded by the computer micro-
phone (so make sure to be working in a quiet place when you are recording!). Then I hit
stop when I finished that segment, and recorded the next segment. Once all the segments
were done, I'd put them together and have the software make a video for me (a computer
file). Video complete!

Membership Websites, Audio Files, Software, and Other Products
Ebooks and video series are the most common products to create and sell on a blog, but
just about any digital product can be sold in a hands free and passive manner. If you pro-
duce music or any other type of audio, you can sell it on your blog. If you produce different
kinds of software, that can be sold on your blog as well.
A membership website is essentially a continual selling of your products: people pay a
monthly fee to be a part of your website and get access to exclusive content (this can in-
clude ebooks, videos, software, forum access, etc.). This is an awesome model because as
your membership grows, you make more and more money on a monthly basis, but your
workload (if any) remains the same.
And those numbers can add up fast! Think about it: if your membership website costs $33
/ month, 100 members will make you $3,300 / month. 300 members will make you $9,900
/ month. 1000 members will make you $33,000 / month. See what I mean?
