Also make sure you speak with complete honesty. Trust is the biggest factor when writing
your blog posts. The minute people get a sense that your motive isn't to share or be honest
with your readers, you will lose their trust and all your hard work will be lost forever. This
is common with bloggers who are constantly promoting products to their public to make
affiliate sales and win a commission off their recommendations - their greed takes over
as they start to make money by recommending products, and eventually their dishonesty
backfires. They lose the people's trust, and as a result lose their readership and lots of po-
tential money in the process. Had they stayed true and only recommended products that
were truly valuable, they could have continued to make and grow their income for years.
Trust is hard to develop and easy to lose - stay true to your roots and don't forget why
people initially became your readers!
You also want to encourage comments on your blogs and reply to every single one. People
like to know that there is a real person behind a blog and also like to be acknowledged when
they've commented on a piece. The most successful blogs have a sense of community go-
ing on and many people like to comment regularly on a person's blog and participate in full
blown discussions. This helps tremendously with SEO because search engines love to see
posts that are getting lots of attention - they send traffic to that post because they see that it
is popular. Not only that, your blog post is growing in content and getting lots of different
opinions on it, making it even more valuable of an article.
In your replies, be courteous and respectful to everyone who writes, even when you dis-
agree with their opinion (this should be obvious, but just thought I'd mention it!).
Note: The writing process can be outsourced and there are lots of bloggers who do it!
I personally like to write my own posts, but it is certainly not necessary. If you want
