- The first most basic way to make money online is by freelancing (in other
words, getting paid to make websites for other people). It's the way I got started in this
whole business. More and more people need websites on a daily basis, yet most people never
even look into how to make a website at all. If they did, they would realize that putting
up a basic website is a simple process that takes less than an hour total and requires no
