building resembles a stately home with its impressive entrance hall and wood-panelled
corridors. At 110 rooms it's hardly intimate, but it has all the advantages of a large hotel,

lounge bar in the arts centre lobby, Doc is an attractive spot for a bite or a beer. Sand-
