Getting There & Away
BUS
A daily National Express coach heads to/from Porthmadog (£7.20, 30 minutes), Caernar-
fon (£7.40, one hour), Bangor (£7.60, 1½ hours), Llandudno (£9.10, two hours) and Lon-
don (£38, 10½ hours).
Most of the peninsula's services originate or terminate at Pwllheli. Destinations include
Aberdaron (route 17; 40 minutes), Morfa Nefyn (8; 20 minutes), Criccieth (3; 23
minutes), Porthmadog (3; 35 minutes) and Caernarfon (12; 45 minutes).
TRAIN
Pwllheli is the terminus of the Cambrian Coast Line, with direct trains to Criccieth (£3.30,
15 minutes), Porthmadog (£4.80, 22 minutes), Harlech (£7.80, 47 minutes), Barmouth
(£11, 1½ hours) and Machynlleth (£16, 2¼ hours).
