Although the High St (Stryd Fawr) has an extravagant number of charity shops and more
than a few boarded-up businesses, there are still some independent, local enterprises
worth seeking out.

lery showcases the work of Piercy, a local artist who specialises in watercolours of local
scenes.
Kerfoots

ent store is a local institution. It stocks a limited range of household goods and clothing,
but is worth checking out for its upstairs coffee shop and the stained-glass dome above the
staircase.

BICYCLE
The Lôn Las Cymru cycle trail passes through Porthmadog, heading west to Criccieth and
