Prisoner Convention

fans of the cult TV show converges on Portmeirion in April for a weekend of dress ups
and human chess.
FAN CONVENTION
Festival No 6
( www.festivalnumber6.com ; Sep) Despite the name, it's not yet another Prisoner convention -
although it is held in Portmeirion. Started in 2012, this rock and dance music festival with
an arts, culture and comedy component has topped many best festival lists. Headliners
have included New Order, Manic Street Preachers and James Blake. It's held over a long
weekend in September.

mile from town and a similar distance above Borth-y-Gest (veer right off Borth Rd before
it curves down to the bay), this large modern house offers spacious, comfortable and scru-
pulously clean rooms. It's a real bargain too.
