Getting There & Away
Snowdon Sherpa bus S4 heads to/from Caernarfon (30 minutes), Snowdon Ranger (11
minutes), Rhyd Ddu (nine minutes) and Pen-y-Pass (17 minutes).
Bus S97 heads to Porthmadog (25 minutes), Tremadog (20 minutes) and Pen-y-Pass (17
minutes).
Beddgelert is a stop on the historic Welsh Highland Railway, which runs between Caern-
arfon (return £26, 1½ hours) and Porthmadog (£18.50, 40 minutes) from Easter to Octo-
ber, and stops at the Rhyd Ddu and Snowdon Ranger trailheads.
