PEMBROKESHIRE ADVENTURES
With all that wild, rugged coastline it's no surprise that water sports are a big deal in Pembrokeshire. All across

. A combination of rock climbing, gully scrambling,
cave exploration, wave riding and cliff jumping, this demanding activity is the mainstay of the local adventure-
sports scene.
The notorious
Bitches
in Ramsey Sound are known as one of Britain's best white-water play spots. This tidal
race offers massive whirlpools, eddies, big wave trains and stoppers, and standing waves on higher tides. It's a

St Non's Bay
Immediately south of St Davids is this ruggedly beautiful spot, named after St David's
mother and traditionally accepted as his birthplace. A path leads down to the 13th-century
