BIKE
Part of the Celtic Trail (Sustrans National Route 4) hugs the bay for the lovely stretch
from downtown Swansea to Mumbles; Action Bikes ( 01792-464640;

BUS
First Cymru ( www.firstgroup.com ) runs local services; buses 2, 3 and 37 head to Newton Rd
in Mumbles (20 minutes), departing from Oxford St. A Swansea Bay Day Ticket offers
all-day bus travel in the Swansea and Mumbles area for £4.50; buy tickets from the driver.
PARKING
Outside of the main commercial strips you should be able to find free street parking;
check signs carefully. In the centre, the car park near the intersection of Princess Way and
Oystermouth Rd offers two hours free between 10am and 5pm, Monday to Saturday (un-
limited at other times).
