sional tourist office stocks a free guide and map showing all of Hay's bookshops (most
bookshops have the map, too). You can also access the internet here (around £1 per 30
minutes).
Getting There & Around
Drover Cycles ( 01497-821134; www.drovercycles.co.uk ; Forest Rd) rents mountain and touring bikes.
Bus 39 heads to Brecon (41 minutes). Beacons Buses routes 12 and B17 are also op-
tions.
There's a large car park on Oxford Rd (per hour 50p, over four hours £2.50, free 6pm to
8am).
