) The highlights at this stylish lodge are the views over Mkoma Bay from the sundowner
terrace, and the subdued, comfortable ambience. Accommodation is in seven raised, well-
appointed tents of the sort you find in upmarket safari camps, all set around expansive
grounds on a low cliff overlooking the water. There are also small stone bungalows, a spa-
cious four-bedroom self-catering house and a restaurant. It's 3km north of the main Pan-
gani junction.

set well back from the water, Bahari Pori has good-value, well-appointed safari-style tents
set around tranquil, manicured grounds overlooking the mangroves and the sea in the dis-
tance. There's an Italian restaurant and a pizza oven. A footpath leads about 10 minutes
down the escarpment and through the mangroves to a small swimming beach. It's north of
Mkoma Bay.

spacious twin-bedded bungalows set slightly inland and just north of the main junction.
There's a restaurant-bar gazebo overlooking the water, with swimming possible just below.

location, delightful, spacious cottages directly on the beach and excellent cuisine. The cot-
tages have huge beds surrounded by billowing mosquito nets, large bathrooms and stylish
decor. There are also two family cottages (including a honeymooners' cottage with private
plunge pool) and a beachside bar and restaurant. The lodge arranges honeymooners' snor-
kelling trips to Maziwe, complete with a waiter, cool box, champagne and all the trim-
mings.
