resolve the boundary layer flow. This in turn leads to a diffused boundary layer and
hence a lower velocity gradient and WSS value.
It is interesting to note that unlike the simulations of Sahni et al. [36, 37, 38] we did
not observe any oscillatory distribution of the WSS in the case of fully unstructured
meshes (see the distribution of the WSS in Fig. 13.9a). This is probably due to higher
quality of the generated tetrahedral meshes.
