we modified the Openphone architecture to transmit the whole bitstream of one
frame before grabbing the next frame. After encoding, the transmission module is
called and the bitstreams packets are sent until the whole bitstream for one
encoded frame is transmitted. The new modified set of operations is presented in
Figure 37.

By implementing these modifications we came up with a real time test bed in
the form of Openphone. To check any video codec in real time video conferencing
system, we can embed it Openphone and can calculate its bitrate, frame rate and
other real time options [6].
