With the exception of the Kolmanskop ghost town, allow at least five days to plan any ex-
cursion into the Sperrgebiet as tour companies need time to fill out all of the paperwork
and acquire all of the necessary permits.

(N$50 for tour, N$30 for tastings) as well. Also a great information service with very
knowledgeable staff and sells curios, books, stamps and phonecards.

before Shark Island. It's in a lovely location and is just a few minutes drive from the town
