Just as it has in Savuti, SKL has set up a luxury tented camp within earshot of the
cheaper public sites. The camps are luxurious without being overdone, and with prices
significantly less than their near neighbours they're well worth considering.

Located on a 45-hectare
private farm and run by the owners of the respected Garden Lodge in Kasane, Three
Baobabs is wonderfully secluded (there are no signs, thereby keeping out the curious).
The tents are spacious and beautifully turned out; the outdoor bathtubs are rather special.
The lodge is 55km from Savuti, and 27km west of Kachikau.

In wooded country and overlooking the water
between Savuti and Linyanti, this wonderfully remote small camp has large and luxurious
tents of the kind you'd expect from the upmarket Wilderness Safaris group. The perennial
waterhole it overlooks attracts large concentrations of elephants and lions during the dry
season.

This 10-room camp was rebuilt completely in
2012 with a commitment to sustainability; all of the camp's power comes from solar en-
ergy and waste disposal is state of the art. The raised tents overlook the hippo-filled Ziba-
dianja Lagoon from a mangosteen grove. The lagoon can be explored by boat when the
water levels are high, or you can kick back in a luxury tent under thatch.
