Variations in repetition are used to create a sense of rhythm and movement in visual im-
agery. Depending on the level of repetition, a sense of calmness and tranquillity can be
achieved or a sense of excitement and action. It is ideal to link visual variations of rhythm
and movement to content and narrative to ensure cohesion of communication objectives.
