Direction can also be expressed from a range of different perspectives including top-down,
angled-up, sideways, upside-down and keyhole perspective, and each of these can convey
different connotations that may be linked to communication objectives. For example, the
poster for The Other Guys (2010) depicts an angled-up perspective which helps to convey
the action theme of the film, and the two perspectives depicted in the poster for Upside
Down (2012) conveys its science fiction theme.
