Risk assessment - access & egress
Access and egress is an important risk assessment item. A number of contractors
arrange for a dedicated site area for the access of plant where steelwork and utilities
are to be lifted and stored.
The site traffic management plan indicates access roads, hard standings, unload-
ing areas and pedestrian assess routes.
The daily hazard board will highlight restricted access areas during specific site
operations.
