The site waste management plan
The following is an overview of the purpose of headings identified on the waste
management system. The displays are used to identify:
The operations creating the waste. This is an operational approach to the waste
created from the demolition stage through to the final internal and external oper-
ations. Each stage of work creates its own waste problems.
Types of waste streams generated i.e. active waste, inert waste and hazardous
waste.
The quantities of waste (tonnage) in each of the waste streams.
The strategy for waste disposal of the waste created.
The European waste category code should be shown together with details of the
waste carrier responsible for the disposal. The relevant licence numbers, consign-
ment number and note number may be displayed.
The form also includes a summary of:
Total waste (tonnage)
2911 T
Re-used/recycled on site
92 T
Sent off site for recycling
942 T
Sent to authorised disposal
1830 T
