5. Monthly progress report
It is an unusual procedure to plan the monthly progress meeting just prior to the
monthly site meeting with the client. This allows progress on each work section to be
discussed with the subcontractors and supervisors. This ensures that at the clients
monthly site meeting, everyone “sings from the same hymn sheet”.
A review of site safety, quality control and the waste management situation may
be reviewed. A review of the progress of each subcontractor's package may be
agreed and delays realistically assessed.
