Typically, there is no need to access this folder. We have shown you the folder so that you can have a clear
understanding what the build process entails. One of the few times you might use this folder is to copy the
.asdatabase
file and send it to a co-worker, because this one file contains all the code needed to create all the
objects in an SSAS project.
Microsoft has anticipated this use and provides a wizard that walks you through utilizing an
.asdatabase
le
to deploy an SSAS project to an SSAS server.
The wizard is found under the Start menu

the name of an SSAS server and database to deploy to.
