Hunkered along a backstreet, framed by beams and cob walls, this creative bistro is a snug
place to dine: start with seafood amuses bouches , then move on to buttery lemon sole or
rich roast duck. A wee bit pricey, though.

Getting There & Away
BUS
Bus 572 (hourly Monday to Saturday) Shuttles between Polperro and Plymouth, stopping
at West and East Looe, St Germans (for Port Eliot) and Saltash.
Bus 573 (one or two per hour Monday to Saturday) Polperro to Liskeard via Looe.
TRAIN
The supremely scenic Looe Valley Line trucks for 9 miles along the valley to Liskeard
(£3.90, 29 minutes, hourly), with grand views of woods and estuary. It's worth taking for
the trip alone.
