In-Depth Information
Various boats set out from Buller Quay for destinations along the coast - just head along
to the quay and check out the chalkboards, where the next sailings will be chalked up. In
summer, there are frequent sailings to Fowey and Polperro.
Looe's also a great place to try your hand at some sea-fishing: mackerel, conger and
shark are all regularly caught here. There are lots of boats offering trips: for shark trips,
start with the Shark Fishing Club of Great Britain ( 01503-262642;
www.sharkanglingclubofgreatbritain.org.uk ) , or for more general fishing, try Carrie Jane (
07853-391090; www.fishing-cornwall.co.uk ) or Mystique Fishing (
