ful rooms in this gorgeous guesthouse is done up in a different style: choose from pop art,
art deco or contemporary chic. Fabulous soft furnishings, a light-filled sitting room (com-
plete with baby grand piano), and cracking sea-and-town views add to the appeal. Bovril,
the black labrador, will even walk you along the cliff-path to the Grampus pub.

lous, this B&B is a study of neutral tones and dashes of vivid colour. It's also graced by

£1000; ) The location is simply stunning: clinging to a cliff between Morthoe and
Woolacombe. The restrained rooms boast glittering black and white bathrooms, but the
best bits are the view (a plunging shoreline, dancing waves and the smudge of Lundy Is-
land), and the decked garden.

old fashioned Devonshire pub with a warm welcome, hearty food, an open fire, pub
games and quality beers - try Ilfracombe's own Lundy Gold. It's in the village of Lee, 3
miles west of Ilfracombe. Hiking the coast path is the best way to arrive.
