Woods
has got rustic chic down to a fine art, both in its decor and its dishes. Deer antlers hang on
rough stone walls, trestle tables sit beside wood-panelled booths. Exmoor beef, lamb, pi-
geon and cheeses fill the menu, often with intriguing accompaniments - look out for moz-
zarella, pickled wild mushrooms and samphire.
