18th-century farmhouse. Rustic, gingham-themed bedrooms feature chimney breasts and
reclaimed joists. The only sounds are the sheep, dear and pheasants outside. There's also
back-to-nature woodland camping, a two-person, shabby-chic shepherd`s hut (£65), and a
cookery school in the barn.

to stay in central Dulverton. The bedrooms in this converted, riverside mill are thoroughly
contemporary, with creamy carpets, magnolia walls and bits of floral artwork. A covetable

retired army officer in the 1930s, evidence of that era is everywhere: from the pith helmet

tleberry jam for breakfast, a peaceful sun-terrace, and homeade sloe gin in the bar.
