The laid-back terrace of this idyllic bistro is

place to indulge in local
oysters, mussels, monkfish and crab; treatments range from grilled and traditional to spicy
and Spanish. Local seafood packs the barbecue and picnic chests, while the weekday,
three-course set menus are a bargain (£12). The shack lies just off the tidal road between
Bigbury-on-Sea and Aveton Gifford.
