8.2.3 Implementation method
Safety helmets are obligatory personal protective equipment for all construction
sites. Therefore, for this research, the device was designed as a safety helmet on
which it would be possible to install both the iPod Touch and the projector
(Figure 8.4). A small aperture was cut at the front of the helmet, allowing the
projector to display the building information. A small frame was set up on the right
side of the helmet to hold and secure the mobile device safely (Figure 8.4a).
