SEAFOOD/PARRILLADA Located in the Mercado del Puerto, this
is one of the area's most popular restaurants, crowded with locals and tourists alike. It gets
especially crowded when the cruise ships come in. It has been around since 1958. Fish is
the highlight, but they also hav e tapas, pastas, paellas, and lots of grilled meats. A spe-
cialty is the Paella Exotica, made with rabbit.

SEAFOOD Resembling an old fishing club , El Viejo y el M ar
is on the riv erfront near the S heraton. The bar is made fr om an abandoned boat, while
the dining r oom is decorated with dock lines, sea lamps, and pictur es of 19th-centur y
regattas. You'll find ev ery kind of fish and pasta on the menu, and the r estaurant is
equally popular for evening cocktails. An outdoor patio is open most of the y ear.
