ADDING SPRY ELEMENTS TO PAGES
Spry framework for AJAX is a JavaScript and
CSS code library that Web designers use to more
easily add advanced fun c tionality to Web pages.
AJAX (Asynchronous
JavaScript and XML)
is a technique for using
various technologies to
update Web page
content and targeted
pieces of content within
a page without visibly
refreshing the page
and without browser
add-on technologies.
Widgets are reusable,
prebuilt page
elements that enable
user interaction.
A Spry effect is a
visual enhancement
that you can apply to
t he various elements in
Web pages. Spry
effects are located in
the Behaviors panel of
the Tag Inspector.
The accordion widget
style sheet is added
when you add the
widget to the page.
When you add Spry
elements to the page, a
SpryAssets folder is
created and all Spry
assets are added here.
