lounge_logo_over.psd, lounge_logo.jpg, lounge_logo_over.jpg
Coffee Lounge
Tommy asks you to add graphics and tables to the Coffee Lounge site.
You'll add the new Coffee Lounge logo with a rollover linked to the home page to every
page of the site. Then, you'll import an Excel worksheet containing the new coffee drink
menu to the menu page.
1. Open the
Coffee Lounge
site you modifi ed in Tutorial 4, and then open the
index.html
page in Design view.
2. Replace the current logo, if there is one, with a graphic logo with a rollover that links
to the home page and includes alternate text. You can use the logo graphics provided
by the design team in the Tutorial.05\Case4 folder included with your Data Files or
create your own. The design team has provided the logo and rollover as Photoshop
fi les as well as compressed JPEG fi les (
lounge_logo.psd
or
lounge_logo.jpg
as the
original image and
lounge_logo_over.psd
or
lounge_logo_over.jpg
as the rollover
image). If you have Photoshop, you can modify the provided Photoshop fi le to match
your design.
3. Adjust the CSS style of the head div to accommodate the size and placement of the
new rollover image.
4. Copy the logo and its functionality to all the other pages of the site.
5. Open the coffee & food page, and then import the
coffee_menu.xlsx
Excel work-
book located in the Tutorial.05\Case4 folder. When you import the workbook,
Dreamweaver creates a table to match the structure of the worksheet content.
6. Format the new content, adding new styles as necessary.
7. Save your changes, preview the site in a browser, and then close the browser.
8. Upload the site to your remote server, and then test the pages over the Internet,
checking all the links and the added page.
9. Submit the fi nished fi les to your instructor.
