SESSION 5.2 VISUAL OVERVIEW
When a graphic is
linked, the border
appears as a rectangle
around the graphic in
the color you set for
links in the page
properties (unless the
border is 0 pixels).
A sync icon appears at
the upper-left corner of
the Smart Object
graphic in the
Document window to
remind you that the
image is synced to its
source file and to
indicate the current
status of the sync.
An
image map
is a
graphic that is divided
into invisible regions,
or hotspots.
A
hotspot
is an area of
a graphic that a user
can click to cause an
action such as loading
another Web page.
Image map
tools
enable you

o name the
image map

create hot

ots in it.
