In-Depth Information
The decor's fresh and modern, there's secure parking, the breakfast buffets are excellent,
and the staff aren't afraid to smile. It's worth paying the additional €10 for a spacious ju-
nior suite. The only disappointment is the tiny rooftop pool.
APARTMENTS €€
Apartmani Kažanegra
( 033-468 738; www.kazanegra.com ; Obala 12; apt €80-150; ) This stone villa is as close as
you can get to the beach without ending up with sandy toes. It houses a range of tidy one-
and two-bedroom apartments with private terraces overlooking the sea.
Eating
Blanche
( 062-504 272; www.blanche-restaurant.com ; Obala 11; mains €8-24; 10am-midnight) Higher than usu-
al prices and upmarket decor don't necessarily signal quality but in Blanche's case, we
weren't left disappointed. Sharing the menu with the usual Dalmatian seafood classics
are succulent steaks served with French-style sauces and a wide selection of Italian
dishes, with enough twists to keep things interesting.
EUROPEAN €€
Konoba More
( 033-468 255; Obala 18; mains €8-18; 11am-11.30pm) A stereotypically dreamy Mediterranean
restaurant with a terrace that juts out over the beach, serving traditional and Italian-tinged
fish dishes.
SEAFOOD €€
Konoba Langust
( 033-468 369; www.langust-przno.com ; Obala 34; mains €9-15) This highly rated fish restaurant has
been serving traditional seafood meals from its stretch of the Pržno promenade for over
20 years. You can certainly find these dishes cheaper elsewhere but you're unlikely to
find them better.
