A bridge arches
over a small pool lined in green tiles before you even reach the front door of this hotel,
dripping in marble, slate and a general air of over-the-top opulence. There's enough
bling, in fact, to have enticed Tina Turner, Jay-Z and Beyoncé through the doors. Down-
stairs there's a tiny private beach, an upmarket restaurant and a full spa centre.

Head upstairs to the rooftop terrace
for lovely views of the bay and lots of Dalmatian-style seafood dishes, despite the name
and the decor referencing Greece.

Restoran Stari Mlini

It's well worth making the trip to
Ljuta, just north of Dobrota, to this magical restaurant set in and around an 18th-century
flour mill by the edge of the bay. It's pricier than most and the service is variable, but the
food is excellent and the setting wonderfully romantic.

Getting There & Around
A one-way road runs along the waterfront heading south towards Kotor. This road can
either be accessed from Jadranski Put at the top end or from a side road about halfway
along. Expect an extremely slow crawl along here in summer.
