Konoba Otok Bronza
( 032-373 607; mains €7-13)
Dating from the 12th century (yes, you read that right), this
memorable place has a cavelike interior with a spring spouting mountain water from its
rock walls. Settle in for a reasonably priced traditional meal or just soak up the mood
over a glass of local vino under the canopy of grapevines.

Restaurant Conte
( 032-373 687; mains €9-20; )
Meals come with lashings of romance on the flower-be-
decked waterside terrace of the Hotel Conte. This close to the water, how could seafood
not be the speciality? You'll be presented with platters of whole fish to select from; the
chosen one will return, cooked and silver-served, to your table.
Piratebar
(recliner/umbrella €2.50/1.50)
Tucked under the road on the Risan edge of Perast, this little
beach bar serves coffee, frappes and cocktails. It's also the best spot in Perast for a swim.

Getting There & Away
Paid parking is available on either approach to town; car access into the town itself is re-
stricted.
There's no bus station but buses stop at least hourly on the main road at the top of
town. Expect to pay less than €3 for any journey within the bay between Kotor (25
minutes) and Herceg Novi (40 minutes).
Boat tours of the bay invariably stop here.
