; Jadranski Put bb, Igalo; dm €12; )
Hidden on the slopes above
Igalo, this simple place consists of four basic shared rooms which open on to a terrace
overlooking the bay. The charming young owner speaks excellent English and there's a
traditional restaurant downstairs (mains €4 to €9). It's difficult to find; from the bus sta-
tion head 1.5km in the direction of Igalo and look for a small wooden sign in Cyrillic (
Извор ) pointing up a small road on the right, immediately before a red metal fence.

The decor's a
little dated at this terracotta-roofed hotel but almost all of the rooms have balconies with
sea views, and the blue-tiled pool on the sunny terrace is extremely enticing. The restaur-
ant opens onto the waterfront promenade where stairs lead down to a pebbly beach.
