respect is sensed through a 360º total experience of every section of the
“house”. It generates the kind of vibes that can be felt in the physical work
rooms and studio of the designers. It uses interactivity, sound, melody, voice
and strong visuals to evoke an ambience that embodies the core character-
istics of the brand. The possibility of creating a unique online atmosphere
has often been challenged by Internet opposers who contend that a luxurious

In spite of the use of advanced digital technology in its development, this web-
site has struck a unique cord by enabling simple navigation, efficient function-
ality and overall easy usability (Figure 9.17). Even an Internet novice will find
the ease of use of the website pleasurable. Its navigation has combined the
use of hidden tabs - which come to life with the movement of the mouse -
with the standard horizontal menu and sub-menu presented discreetly on top
and beneath the screen. This layout ensures that there is no interruption in the
