ing and this is derived from a unique blending of the signature color black
with the varying colors of the products and services featured. The vast scope
of luxury offerings that the website covers - fashion, art, architecture, interi-
ors, transport, timepieces, jewelry, beauty and so on - also gives it a character
of knowledge stimulation. On this website we almost feel as if our eyes, ears
and all human senses are being opened to enjoy a pleasurable experience.

This is one of the easiest websites you will find online in any category or sec-
tor in terms of usability, functionality and navigation (Figure 9.11). As an
innovative website that challenged the way information is presented online,
the website was at the forefront of creating horizontal navigation instead of
placing text and images on par in the standard scroll-down form. In addition,
from its home page it also presents its main pages and sub-pages through a
