Setting database credentials
After you provide the passwords for the accounts, the DBCA asks where you would like to place the
database-specific items, such as data files, log files, and control files. The Oracle Database Appliance has
everything built-in and Automatic Storage Management (ASM) configured, and the default is to store these items
on ASM. However, you can see in Figure
4-8
that you can choose between Cluster File System (CFS) and ASM
as storage locations.
