Because you are the administrator, you or your group needs to manage the database. As part of the installation,
you will be prompted if you want to create a database console, also known as Database Control. Here's the prompt: n

in Chapter 6, you will review how to set up a database control maually. You will also see how to install a
management agent for oracle enterprise Manager 12c.

Next, you will be asked to provide a password for the ASMSNMP user. This user is used to interact with Automatic
Storage Management (ASM) on the appliance. Provide the password that you configured for this user.

Once all the passwords have be provided and stored, the installer begins to install the Oracle Database in a Real
Application Cluster configuration. This type of installation can run for a few minutes, depending on the size of the
database that was requested to be created. Eventually, you'll receive a message stating that the database was created
successfully, and that message will include a date and timestamp of the completion. For example:

When the database is created, entries in the Cluster Ready Services (CRS) stack will be available for review
(see Listing 4-6). Use the command
crsctl
from the Oracle Grid home to review the status of the database that has
been created. A complete listing of the
crsctl
output is in Listing 4-6. The lines in bold correspond to the database
just created.
