Any devices that are not in a successful state should be evaluated immediately. Any reported issues should be
looked at, and an Oracle support ticket should be immediately opened to resolve any problem that is found.
Network Components
The ODA comes with public as well as private interfaces to allow network connectivity to the outside world, and
internal network connectivity for the server nodes and the cluster to communicate. There is a difference between
the ways a virtualized ODA sees network components in comparison to a bare-metal installation. ODA V1 has 2x
1GbE interfaces for the interconnect, 2x3 1GbE interfaces for public connectivity, as well as a two-port 10GbE SFP+
interface. ODA X3-2 went in a different direction with all 10GbE ports (copper) All ports are set up as active/passive at
the operating system.
