( 077-447744; 125 Wilkinson Rd; 10am-10pm Mon-Sun; ) A slice of London in Freetown,
Crown Express is becoming famous for its hip, air-con-cooled decor and apple crumble. If
you're eating, the staff will hand you a wi-fi code with your cutlery. There's no alcohol li-
cence, but you can uncork a bottle of wine from the supermarket next door. Freetown in-
sider tip: this place has the best toilets in town.

( 076-618240; 4 Regent Rd; ) A Lebanese-run, multimenued spot that's the sister res-
taurant of Monrovia's famous Mamba Point. The bar area is styled like a typical English
gastropub, but it's the (expensive) sushi bar that's the main draw here. It's also a decent
hotel.
